Brands Hatch Masters Historic Festival timetable published

Friday, May 07 2021

The Masters Historic Festival returns to the full Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit on 29-30 May with two busy days of retro motorsport. You can now click here to view a full timetable outlining the event.

The meeting will be headlined by Masters Historic Formula One as usual, with a field of normally-aspirated Grand Prix cars from the '70s and '80s taking to a classic circuit which has changed little since they were raced in period. Machinery from Williams, Lotus, McLaren and more are expected to appear in two races across the weekend - one each on Saturday and Sunday.

Other highlights will include Masters Endurance Legends series for '90s and '00s sports and GT cars, also with a race on each day, plus the Masters Historic Sports Cars for '60s and '70s sports-racing cars which will race on Sunday.

Fans of classic tin top racing are in for a real treat, with pre-'66 saloon car battles on both days. Saturday afternoon will feature a one-hour touring car race, before two sprint races for Minis on the Sunday.

The line-up will be completed by the Equipe Libre series for 1960s racing cars and Gentleman Drivers classes for classic GT cars. Both days will also feature single-seater demonstrations with details still to be announced.

A number of measures will be in operation at this event, in accordance with government COVID-Secure guidelines.  Click here to download a summary.
