Blancpain GT Series: Spectator information

For those attending this weekend's (5-6 May)Blancpain GT Series event. Here is some important information to help you make the most of your trip to the circuit.

Viewing on the Grand Prix loop
Visitors this weekend will notice some changes to the Grand Prix loop section of the circuit, with new pathways and additional debris fencing in several areas. These changes have been made as part of an ongoing programme of spectator safety improvements. 

You will still be able to walk around the perimeter of the Grand Prix circuit, but please note a small trackside section between Sheene Curve and Stirlings Bend will no longer be a spectator area.

Gate opening times
Public admission to the circuit is from 8.00am on both days.

Southbank Parking
Southbank (the grass bank opposite the rear of the pits) and infield (the area behind Druids hairpin) parking is available for £5 per car each day. Click here to download a pass.

Advance sales have now closed and tickets are only available on the gate for the following prices:

Saturday: Adult £16, 13-15 year-olds £10, Senior Citizens £13
Sunday: Adult £28, 13-15 year-olds £17, Senior Citizens £21
Admission is FREE on both days to under-13s.

If you have chosen to have tickets posted (not print-at-home) you will need to bring the originals to the circuit as copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required.

In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to the main MSV office at Brands Hatch.

Print-at-home tickets are emailed on the day of purchase. If you haven't received yours, please contact the call centre on 0343 453 9000. Print all your e-documents and bring them to the venue. Your order confirmation email will not gain you admission to the venue - you must have your e-tickets printed.

Please have your tickets separated before arriving at the gate.

Grandstand Seats
Grandstand seating is available in the Paddock Hill Bend grandstand all weekend. Access costs £5 or £2.50 for under-15s on Saturday, and £10 for adults and £5 for under-15s on Sunday. Seats can all be purchased from the Megastore opposite the Kentagon restaurant.

Superview Upgrade - raceday only
Watch all the action in style from a shared Brabham/Stewart suite overlooking the start/finish straight! The suite has a live timing screen, and tea, coffee and biscuits all day are included. Just £45 for adults and £29 for children aged under 16, tickets are available from the Megastore opposite the Kentagon restaurant.

Giant screen - Sunday only
A giant TV screen showing all of the Sunday action will be located on South Bank at the Graham Hill Bend end.

Official event programmes are on sale from the main entrance gates and the Megastore for £5. This features in-depth articles on the Blancpain GT Series and other events taking place this weekend along with entry lists and information on the racing timetable.

Weekend Camping
The campsite will open at midday on Friday 5 May and will close at midday on Monday 8 May. Camping tickets are available on the gate for £30 per person (£18 to 13-15 year-olds), and is free for under-13s.

Pit Walk
There is a free of charge pit walk and autograph session at 9:05 on Sunday morning. Make sure you arrive at the entry point by Paddock Hill in good time.

Supercar Display - Sunday only
A mega supercar display, featuring a large contingent from the Supercar Siege, will line-up throughout the venue, including cars from many of the world's most exotic manufacturers.

Hypercar Track Demonstration - Sunday only
Rare hypercars, including the Ferrari F40, Porsche 918, Koenigsegg Agera and McLaren P1 will be taking part in two high-speed demonstrations on Sunday and will form part of the Supercar display.

The Hypercar display and demonstration is part of the Supercar Siege event at Blancpain which is raising money in aid of The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Children's Fund.

The Brands Hatch Fun Zone, located behind the Pit Straight grandstand, will offer an assortment of exciting rides and activities to entertain the whole family on Sunday.

Adventure Playground
The Brands Hatch adventure playground, located behind the Kentagon, will be open all weekend for children aged up to 14. It features a motorsport theme and has climbing frames, swings and much more!

Go Karting
You can test your mettle with go-karting on a mini version of the Brands Hatch Indy circuit, located next to the Kentagon. Karting is available on Sunday for all those aged 8+ and costs £15 for ten minutes, payable at the karting circuit.

Free WiFi
Free WiFi can be accessed from the pit garages, spectator grandstands, and the Kentagon and Hailwoods restaurants. To access the facility, provided free-of-charge via the Purple WiFi portal, simply select MSV-HOTSPOT-WIFI from your smartphone, tablet or PC and log in using your Facebook or email address details.

Radio Brands 87.7FM
Radio Brands will be broadcasting live commentary, interviews and spectator information throughout the weekend. Earpiece radios will be on sale from the Megastore for £7.
