Huge Supercar Siege display joins Brands Hatch Blancpain GT event

Thursday, April 21 2016

The main walkway at Brands Hatch will resemble the streets of Monte Carlo at this May's (7/8) Blancpain GT Series event, with a huge display of exotica courtesy of the Supercar Siege.

The Supercar Siege specialises in organising family-friendly events where guests can experience cars that are truly special, ranging from classics to sports and supercars. The organisation also uses the events to raise money for The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Children's Fund, which has supported children whose parents work, or have worked, for the Naval Service for over a hundred years.

The display will be located along Colin Chapman Way, the road that runs parallel to the Start/Finish Straight from the main circuit entrance. A huge range of over 200 cars, the majority of which will come from the club, is expected to appear, with several Ferraris including the legendary F40, and a contingent from Italian rival Lamborghini that features their latest flagship, the Aventador.

British cars will include the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, and the McLaren 650 S, plus a TVR Sagaris and a classic Jenson Interceptor, plus rare Jaguar C Type and XJR-15 models. From Germany there's a Mercedes AMG GTS and Porsches old and new that includes the coveted 993 and a GT3 RS. Japanese icons are expected to include Nissan Skylines and the Honda NSX.

Many more cars are expected to join the line-up on main raceday Sunday, and also taking part will be the Sporting Bears. This club, which has raised over £1M for charity, will be offering passenger rides to visitors in exchange for a donation to charity. Simply visit their stand on the day to book an unforgettable experience.
