MCE BSB Brands Hatch - information for spectators

Whether you've purchased your MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship tickets for this weekend in advance, or you're planning to come on the day, here is all of the information you need to make your weekend (18-20 July) as enjoyable as possible.

Gate opening times 

The gate opening times this weekend are as follows: 
Friday   8:30am 
Saturday  8:00am 
Sunday   7:00am

Southbank parking 

Southbank is available for car parking (not bikes) on the following days (subject to weather conditions): 
Friday   CLOSED 
Saturday  £2 
Sunday   £5

If you intend to park on Southbank you will need to click here and download a pass.

Please display the pass in your windscreen to ensure that you are directed to the correct entrance when you arrive at the circuit.


All advance sales have now closed and tickets are only available on the gate for the following prices:

Friday:  Adult £10

Saturday:  Adult £14 

Sunday:  Adult £32

Children aged 12 and under: Free on all days

Advance ticket holders will need to bring their original tickets to the circuit as copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required. In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to the venue office. If you have advance tickets, please have them separated before arriving at the gate.

Grandstand seats 

Limited grandstand seating is available to purchase from the Megastore opposite the Kentagon restaurant on Saturday and Sunday.

Pit walk 

There is a pit walk on qualifying day (Saturday) at 13:15 and on main raceday (Sunday) at 11:35. Anyone intending to take part will need to arrive at the queuing point next to Paddock Hill grandstand a minimum of 15 minutes beforehand. Please note: There will be no admittance to the pit walk after 13:22 on Saturday and 11:42 on Sunday.

Weekend camping 

Camping will be available to purchase at the gate for £26 per person. Children aged 12 and under camp free. The campsite opens at midday Thursday before the event and will close at 21:00 on Sunday, after which time no facilities are available. Campers will be required to vacate the campsite by 12:00 Monday. Click here to download a camping guide for this event.

Live music 

The weekend also features live music on the campsite on Saturday evening, beginning at 6:30pm. The stage will be headlined by former World Superbike Champion James Toseland. The double WSB title-winner returns to the Kent track, the scene of his most memorable race wins.

Opening for Toseland, The Statesboro Revue will bring American southern blues rock to the heart of Brands Hatch. Formed in 2008, the band has toured extensively in both the US and Europe and has played with legendary acts such as Willie Nelson, the Los Lonely Boy and the Allman Brothers.

Admission will be free of charge to all valid MCE BSB ticketholders. A funfair plus, food and drink will also be located in the area.

Helmet and leather park 

For fans riding to the event there will be a helmet and leather park located adjacent to the main entrance gate.


On Friday and Saturday night, dance the night away at the Kentagon Disco.

Britten's Parade 

The legendary Norton Manx Motorcycles will take pride of place on Britten's Parade, next to the Kentagon Restaurant, throughout the weekend. The combination of the double overhead cam engine of the Manx, melded with the revolutionary 'featherbed' frame, launched Norton to the very front of the Isle of Man TT race. The bike gained near mythical status in the hands of riders like Geoff Duke and Harold Daniel.

Stunt show 

Number 1 Freestyle stunt rider Lee Bowers will be performing at Brands Hatch during main Sunday raceday.

Go Karting 

You can test your mettle with go-karting on a mini version of the Brands Hatch Indy circuit, located behind the Kentagon. Operated by Buckmore Park, karting is available for all those aged 8+ and costs £12 for ten minutes, payable at the karting circuit.

Event programmes are available for just £5 from the dedicated programme booths or from the Megastore. Each programme includes rider profiles and a selection of in-depth articles on all championships competing this weekend.

STIHL big screen 

You won't miss any of the action thanks to two STIHL big screens located on Southbank.  There is also a screen opposite the  Hailwoods grandstand.

Win £500 of STIHL outdoor power tools 
The STIHL Power Award gives you the chance to win STIHL outdoor power tools worth £500 and your photo could appear in the Gallery on the MCE BSB website. All you need to do is send a photo of the first rider to pass the STIHL No. 1 marker at the first intermediate checkpoint and send it tomailto:bsbmedia@mavracing.co.uk.
