MCE BSB rider appearances confirmed for Fans’ Thursday

Friday, July 11 2014

There are just days until the MCE British Superbike Championship descends on Brands Hatch (18/19/20 July) and the Kent circuit will kick start the event with Monster Energy Fans' Thursday.

The Monster Energy rig at Clark Curve will host exclusive interviews with MCE BSB riders, as British Eurosport's Matt Roberts grills the contenders on all the latest news from the paddock ahead of the weekend from 3pm.

Tyco Suzuki's John Hopkins will start the afternoon's activities as the American returns to the Grand Prix circuit for the first time since missing out on the title to Tommy Hill in 2011. He will be followed by contenders including Ian Hutchinson, Knockhill race winner Ryuichi Kiyonari and the Lloyds British GBmoto Racing Kawasaki pairing of Chris Walker and James Ellison.

Milwaukee Yamaha's Tommy Bridewell and Josh Brookes will also talk about their hopes ahead of the three days on the Grand Prix circuit with championship leader Shane 'Shakey' Byrne bringing the sessions to a close. Click here to download a full list of timings.

The Monster Energy Fans' Thursday will conclude with the circuit itself opening from 5pm to 6pm for an official track walk for fans around the classic 2.3-mile Grand Prix layout. The famous Kentagon Restaurant and bar and other food and drink units will be open all afternoon and into the night.
