BRSCC set for Snetterton 300 circuit this weekend

Monday, April 15 2019

This weekend brings the British Racing and Sports Car Club (BRSCC) to Snetterton for a busy two-day meeting on the enthralling 300 circuit.

The BRSCC kicks off the second round of their 2019 season with a range of popular series taking to the tarmac, including the Toyo Tires Porsche Championship, Alfa Romeo Championship, Mazda MX-5 SuperCup, Avon Tyres National Formula Ford Championship and the Civic Cup.

The highly competitive one make Mazda MX-5 SuperCup will take to the track across both days this weekend with close nose-to-tail racing guaranteed. The low cost series brings packed grids and evenly-matched machines to every round with both amateurs and experienced racers often frequenting the grids.

The Toyo Tires Porsche Championship has always produced some of the closest racing between drivers and this weekend will be no different with three races across the weekend. Competitors will be seen racing wheel-to-wheel in Porsche Boxster and 924 models alike, promising fierce wheel-to-wheel battles.

Also competing this weekend is the BRSCC Alfa Romeo Championship, a series dedicated towards one of the most iconic Italian manufacturers. Drivers that cross the finish line first will be the ones with the greatest driver skill and not the ones with the biggest budget.

The Civic Cup is a one make series dedicated towards the Honda Civic Type R, one of the nation's most popular hot hatchbacks, with vehicles from 1990 to 2013 set to compete. Open-wheeled machines from the Avon Tyres Formula Ford 1600 Championship brings an ideal first step into single-seater racing. With zero aerodynamic aids available drivers will be seen slip-streaming at every opportunity, producing stunning multi-car battles in every race.

Discounted advance tickets are available online until midday midday Wednesday (17 April) for just £12, or on the gate for £16 with FREE entry for under-13s. For more information and tickets, please call 0843 453 9000 or click here.
