British GT: Important Spectator Information

Friday, August 03 2018

If you're heading to Brands Hatch for the British GT Championship and BRDC British F3 Championship this weekend (4-5 August), here is some important information about this event to help you make the most of your trip to the circuit.

Click here to download a timetable for this weekend's event.

Gate opening times
Public admission to the circuit is from 8:00am on both days.

Viewing on the Grand Prix loop
Visitors this weekend will notice some changes to the Grand Prix loop section of the circuit, with new pathways and additional debris fencing in several areas. These changes have been made as part of an ongoing programme of spectator safety improvements.

You will still be able to walk around the perimeter of the Grand Prix circuit, but please note a small trackside section between Sheene Curve and Stirlings Bend will no longer be a spectator area.

Southbank Parking
Southbank (the grass bank opposite the rear of the pits) and infield (the area behind Druids hairpin) is available for car parking for £5 per car each day. Click here to download a pass.

All advance sales have now closed and additional tickets are only available on the gate for the following prices:

Saturday: Adult £16, Teen (13-15) £10, Senior Citizen £13
Sunday: Adult: £25, Teen (13-15) £15, Senior Citizen £19
Admission on both days is free for under-13s

If you have chosen to have tickets posted (not print-at-home) you will need to bring the originals to the circuit as copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required.

In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to the main MSV office at Brands Hatch.

Print-at-home tickets are emailed on the day of purchase. If you haven't received yours, login to your MSV account to access them. Print all your e-documents and bring them to the venue. Your order confirmation email will not gain you admission to the venue - you must have your e-tickets printed.

Please have your tickets separated before arriving at the gate.

Grandstand seats
Grandstand seating is available in Paddock Hill Bend grandstand on Sunday for £10 (£5 for under-16s). These can all be purchased from the Megastore opposite the Kentagon restaurant.

Official event programmes are on sale from the main entrance gates and the Megastore for £5. Each programme features in-depth articles on the British GT Championship and BRDC British F3 Championship, plus other events taking place this weekend along with entry lists and information on the racing timetable.

Weekend Camping
The campsite is free of charge for all ticket holders and located approximately 80 metres from the H-Gate entrance, but only limited facilities are available.

Pit Walkabout
There is a free of charge pitlane walkabout and autograph session at 9:05 on Sunday morning. Last entry will be at 9:20 so make sure you arrive at the entry point at Paddock Hill in good time.

Free WiFi
Free WiFi can be accessed from the pit garages, spectator grandstands, and the Kentagon and Hailwoods restaurants. To access the facility, provided free-of-charge via the Purple WiFi portal, simply select MSV-HOTSPOT-WIFI from your smartphone, tablet or PC and log in using your Facebook or email address details.

Radio Brands 87.7FM
Radio Brands will be broadcasting live commentary, interviews and spectator information throughout the weekend. Earpiece radios will be on sale from the Megastore for £7.
