Exciting thrills at Brands Hatch Easter Truck Racing

Saturday, March 17 2018

This Easter's (1/2 April) British Truck Racing event at Brands Hatch will be packed with entertainment both on and off the track, with plenty of excitement for adrenaline junkies.

The off-track show includes the crowd-pleasing Red Dragon Monster Truck, which has been converted to carry passengers. Throughout the event visitors will be able to experience the thrill of riding a brutal V8-powered monster truck as it crushes all obstacles in its path and with room for ten passengers, the whole family can share the excitement.

Team Maximum Lock will be back to entertain everyone on Easter Monday with a breath-taking stunt show. Their expert drifters will demonstrate the art of sideways driving, with synchronised spins a speciality.

For those who would prefer to take the wheel, the Brands Hatch go-karting circuit, located by the Kentagon restaurant will be open on Easter Monday. Anyone aged eight years or over can take on the 'mini-Indy' and race friends or family for bragging rights.

Virtual racers won't be left out, either, as Downforce will be in attendance with its racing simulator throughout the event. Open to all ages, you can emulate your racing heroes with the Brands Hatch circuit faithfully recreated in digital form. It'll be located opposite the Pit Straight.

If you prefer good old-fashioned fairground rides, then head to the funfair for an assortment of exciting experiences in the Brands Hatch Funzone, located opposite the Pit Straight Grandstand.

If all of this adrenaline leaves you in need of a rest, then you can relax to the sounds of live music from The Simmons Brothers Project, Swing That Thing or Matt Brooks, who'll be providing tuneful accompaniment to the action on Easter Monday.

The Easter Truck Racing event also includes on-track action from British Truck Racing, plus supporting races including Legends Cars and Pickup Trucks. Other off-track entertainment includes England's Strongest Disabled Man and Woman contests, and a host of child-friendly activities from a Big Top Tent to children's driving experiences, play areas and an Easter Egg hunt. Please note the individual charges apply to some of the activities.

Tickets for British Truck Racing at Brands Hatch on 1/2 April are available online in advance from £20, with free entry to under-13s. For more information or to book, call 0843 453 9000 or click here.
