American SpeedFest V - Spectator information

Friday, June 09 2017

Here is some useful information to help make the most of your American SpeedFest weekend at Brands Hatch.

American SpeedFest V  returns to Brands Hatch this weekend (10-11 June), and we hope you're looking forward to putting on your Stetson and getting stuck in with our barnstorming programme of events. To help you make the most of your trip to the circuit, here is some useful information about this event.

Gate opening times
Public admission to the circuit is from 8am Saturday and 9am on Sunday. If you are an American car owner and part of our display, please aim to arrive at 7.00am on Sunday. There is no vehicle admission after 9am.

Southbank Parking
Southbank (inside the venue opposite the rear of the pits) is open for car parking for £5 per car, per day, subject to availability.

Tickets
Tickets are available on the gate for £18 on Saturday and £29 for Sunday's main event day. Discounted prices are available for 13-15-year-olds, and under-13s go free!

Click here  for more ticket information.

Advance ticket holders who elected to recieve tickets by post (not print at home) will need to bring their original tickets to the circuit as copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required.

In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to the venue office. Please have your tickets separated before arriving at the gate.

Grandstand seats
Grandstand seating can be purchased for the Hailwoods, Desire Wilson, Pit Straight, and Paddock Hill grandstands, subject to availability. Visit the Megastore beneath the Paddock Hill Grandstand for more information and to purchase. If you booked in advance, please remember to bring your grandstand tickets along with your admission tickets.

Viewing upgrades
SuperView upgrades are available on race day. Watch all the action in style from a weather-proof shared Brabham/Stewart suite that overlooks the start/finish straight! Live timing screens and tea, coffee and biscuits all day are included.

These are available for just £49 from the Megastore, under-16 admission costing just £25.

Programmes
Official souvenir programmes are available from vendors across the venue and the Megastore for £5. Each programme features in-depth articles on the event along with entry lists and information on the racing timetable.

Weekend Camping
The campsite will open at midday on Friday and will close at midday on Monday.

Pit and Grid Walks
There is a free-of-charge grid walk open to all spectators on Saturday lunchtime from 12:25 ahead of the opening NASCAR race of the weekend. There will be a pit-lane walkabout and autograph session at 9:20 on Sunday morning - last entry will be at 9:30 so make sure you arrive at the entry point at the Paddock Hill gate in good time.

Sunday's grid walk is open to relevant pass holders only. Any customers who need to exchange their VIP Sunday Grid Walk e-ticket for a wristband can do so from 8am on Saturday in the Megastore beneath the Paddock Hill Grandstand.

Victory Lane
We'll bring the party to the crowds with Sunday's post-race celebrations taking place in the Victory Lane area behind the Brabham Stewart Suites, just off the circuit's main thoroughfare. Here, fans can get close to the cars and drivers as they celebrate victory. Stick around after the first Victory Lane celebration on Sunday for a chance to win a t-shirt signed by the event's biggest names!

Off-track entertainment
SpeedFest V features bumper line-up off-track entertainment, ranging from stunning display cars to free fun for children!

Headline attractions include a Fast & Furious Celebration which will include replica display cars, drift demonstrations, and an official appearance from stunt driver Zarene Dallas, who featured in the movies. Disney Junior's Mickey and the Roadster Racers will be represented too with a model of Mickey's car!

The venue will be filled with thousands of American display cars, with all of the USA's most famous brands represented, including Ford, Pontiac, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick, Dodge, and so many others. The displays will also include a Hot Rod and Custom display area, with retro custom cars.

There's plenty more to see, including the Demon Drome Wall of Death, monster trucks, other stunt shows, and much more!

Visit  www.speedfest.co.uk  to view a full line-up of off-track entertainment.

On-track action
Racing is headlined by the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series - Europe's only official NASCAR Championship. There will be four races across the weekend, including a headline event with a pre-race ceremony on Sunday afternoon.

There are star drivers to look out for this year too, including NASCAR legend Bobby Labonte and former IndyCar racer Bruno Junqueira.

Plus there will be support races, demonstrations, and special on-track shows!
