Truck Racing, family fun and Fireworks at Brands this November

The final headline event of the 2016 season at Brands Hatch on 5/6 November will be a treat for families, with Truck Racing headlining a wide variety of top class motorsport action, plus a host of fun activities for all ages and a huge fireworks display to end the weekend with a bang!

The five-tonne, 1,000-horsepower racing trucks are a hugely popular sight at Brands Hatch, and they return for the final five rounds of the year. A packed grid of leviathans are set to roar into Paddock Hill bend at astonishing speeds, with bumping and barging, powerslides and wheel-to-wheel duels all part of the action!

Trucks1Ryan Smith is set to claim his first British Truck Racing Championship title on the Indy circuit, but ten-time champion Stuart Oliver will be aiming to do whatever it takes to thwart his rival. Meanwhile there are scores to be settled throughout the field and with reversed-grids and the final three rounds on main raceday Sunday, sparks will fly.

A packed supporting programme features some of the best of British motorsport, including the pocket-sized Legends Cars and NASCAR-style Pickup Trucks providing breathtakingly-close racing on the UK's top spectator circuit. There's also entertaining action from the Quaife Motorsport News Saloons, Intermarque Championship and Cannons Tin Tops.

Trucks4Truck Racing events are filled with family fun and this November's event will be no exception, with off-track attractions for all ages. There are thrilling rides on the Red Dragon Monster Truck, a spectacular show from Internationally-renowned stunt driver Terry Grant, go-karting and a fairground with thrilling rides. Truck Racing fans can enjoy a huge display of show trucks lining the track.

Younger race fans can drive a Mini Monster Truck on a dedicated course, whilst teenagers can take to the wheel of a YoungDrive MINI. There are magical and imaginative shows from the Flying Seagulls Family Entertainers, plus soft play, face painting and a free adventure playground to keep the youngest visitors entertained.

Trucks3Sunday's racing is set to run until dusk, when the track will host a parade of show trucks, followed by a spectacular climax to the event after dark when a huge fireworks display will light up the night sky!
