American SpeedFest II - Spectator Information

NASCAR returns to the UK this weekend (7/8 June) with American SpeedFest II at Kent's legendary Brands Hatch. Whether you've already purchased your tickets, or you'll be buying them on the gate, here is some information to help you make the most of your experience at this event!

Ticket prices

Tickets will be available on the gate for £25 on the main event day on Sunday and £14 on Saturday, with FREE admission for children under 13.

Anyone that's pre-booked will need to bring their original tickets with them - copies are not accepted.

Gate opening times 

Public admission to the circuit is from 8am Saturday and 9am on Sunday. If you are an American car owner and part of our display, please arrive at 7.30am on Sunday.

Southbank Parking 

Southbank (inside the venue opposite the rear of the pits) is available for car parking for £2 per car Saturday and £5 per car Sunday. Click here for more details and to download a pass.

Grandstand seat upgrades 

Grandstand seating is available in Paddock Hill Bend grandstand on Sunday for £10 (£5 for children under 13), whilst seating is available in the Pit Straight grandstand for £7 (£3.50 for children) and Hailwoods grandstand for £5 (£2.50 for children). Desire Wilson grandstand seats cost £5 (£2.50 for children). These can be purchased from the Megastore opposite the Kentagon restaurant.

Paddock Hill grandstand will be open on Saturday. Admission is free of charge.

Viewing upgrades 

Watch all the action in style from a weather-proof shared Brabham/Stewart suite that overlooks the start/finish straight! Live timing screens and tea, coffee and biscuits all day are included. Available for just £35 from the Megastore on Sunday. Children under 13 are £15.

Official event programmes are on sale from the main entrance gates and the Megastore for £5. Each programme features in-depth articles on the event along with entry lists and information on the racing timetable.

Weekend Camping 

The venue campsite will open at midday on Friday 6 June and will close at 21:00 on Sunday 8 June (campers may stay onsite after this time but remain by their own volition). Camping tickets can be purchased on the gate for £25 per person, with free camping for children under 13.

Pit Walkabout 

There is a free of charge pitlane walkabout and autograph session at 9:20 on Sunday morning. Last entry will be at 9:35 so make sure you arrive at the entry point at Paddock Hill in good time.

Off track entertainment 

The opening ceremony takes place at 12:35 ahead of the main NASCAR race on Sunday and will feature an air display from a North American T-6 Texan.

Four bands will play on the Victory Lane Music stage on Sunday. The Fat Walters Band play at 10:00 and 11:30. Elvis performs at 10:55 and 12:20. The Houndogs play once at 14:10 and again at 16:10 with El Camino completing the bill at 15:10 and 17:25.

The Red Dragon Monster Truck will be offering passenger rides throughout Sunday at the Live Action Arena. These are available to purchase on the day.

The Swamp Thing Monster Truck will perform at the Live Action Arena at 11:00 and 14:30 on Sunday. The MBS Mountainboard 'Big Air Show' takes place at 10:40, 12:00 and 17:00 on Sunday.

There will be a venue-wide display of classic American autos, featuring a 50 year timeline of Mustangs, a 50th Anniversary GT40 display and historic racecars including a race-winning Penske IndyCar.

Tickets for the giant zipline, high ropes course, laser maze and Bagjump will be available on the Sunday while the children's adventure playground, bouncy castle and face painting will be free of charge.

On-track demonstrations 

The historic NASCARs will demonstrate on the circuit at 14:50 on Sunday and the dragsters will demonstrate at 11:20.

The Mustangs and GT40s will parade around the track at 16:10.

Radio SpeedFest 87.7FM 

Radio SpeedFest will be broadcasting live commentary, interviews and spectator information throughout the weekend. Earpiece radios will be on sale from the Megastore for £5.
