BMCRC riders prepare to tackle the GP loop

Tuesday, August 13 2013

The British Motorcycle Racing Club is coming to Brands Hatch this weekend (17-18 August) to tackle the Brands Hatch GP Circuit for their Gordon Cobbold Meeting.

As with all of the BMCRC's meetings there is a heavy emphasis on quantity as well as quality with an eclectic line up of bikes set to take part in 43 races over the two days. This will include everything from classic bikes, sidecars and junior classes right up to the dramatically named Thunderbikes!

Bike meetings on the Grand Prix circuit are a rare thing indeed and it's a prime opportunity to see some unique machines tackling Hawthorns, Westfield, Sheene Curve and Stirlings. With the season reaching boiling point, there isn't a more evocative place for riders to assert their authority ahead of the closing rounds.

Away from the circuit the new adventure playground will be open and free to use so feel free to bring the kids along! The paddock will also be open, offering fans a chance to meet the teams and riders.

Tickets for the British Motorcycle Racing Clu at Brands Hatch on 17/18 August are available from £10 with free admission for children aged 12 and under. For more information call 0843 453 9000 or click  here.
