Everything you need to know about Trucks this weekend at Brands Hatch

Thursday, March 24 2011

If you're coming along to the opening round of the Delphi British Truck Racing Championship this weekend (26/27 March), here's some important information to help you make the most of your visit to Brands Hatch.

Gate opening times
Public admission to the circuit is from 8am on both Saturday and Sunday.

Southbank Parking
Southbank is available for car parking (not bikes) at a cost of £2 on Saturday and £5 on Sunday.

If you intend to park on Southbank you will need to click on the link at the bottom of this page and download a pass.

Please display the pass in your windscreen to ensure that you are directed to the correct entrance when you arrive at the circuit.

You will need to bring your original tickets to the circuit copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required.

In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to the venue office.

Please have your tickets separated before arriving at the gate.

If you haven't yet purchased tickets but would like to attend, tickets will be available on the gate at a cost of £12 for adults on Saturday and £21 on Sunday. Entry is free for children aged 12 and under.

Official event programmes are on sale from the main entrance gates and the Brands Hatch Megastore for £5. Each programme features in-depth articles on every series racing this weekend along with puzzles, games and information on the racing timetable.

Superview and Directors Terrace upgrades
You can watch the action on Sunday from a weather-proof suite overlooking the start/finish straight with a Superview upgrade available for just £30 for adults and £15 for children aged 12 and under. Each suite is equipped with live timing screens.

You can also enjoy elevated raceday viewing from the exclusive Directors Terrace balcony at the heart of the start/finish straight. Upgrades cost £30 and are available from the Megastore.

Grandstand seats
Grandstand seating is available in Paddock Hill Bend grandstand on raceday (Sunday) at a cost of £12 per person. Tickets can be purchased from the Megastore opposite the Kentagon restaurant.

The Brands Hatch FunZone will be open on Sunday, featuring a fun fair, free face painting, water zorbing, trampolining and mini quad bikes.

Off-track entertainment
Go karting courtesy of Buckmore Park is available for those aged 10+ at a cost of £12 for ten minutes, payable at the karting circuit beside the Kentagon restaurant.

High speed rally car passenger rides are available from Hailwoods restaurant in the outer paddock at a cost of £25 per person.

There will be a disco in the Kentagon restaurant on Saturday evening.
