Thursday, April 21 2011

The MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship gets underway at Brands Hatch this Easter holiday weekend. To help make your visit to the circuit even more enjoyable, we have pleasure in providing some important information to help you make the most of your weekend.

Gate opening times
The gate opening times are as follows:

Monday - 7am

Southbank Parking
Southbank is available for car parking (not bikes) on the following days:

Monday - £5

If you intend to park on Southbank you will need to click on the link at the bottom of the page and download a pass.

Please display the pass in your windscreen to ensure that you are directed to the correct entrance when you arrive at the circuit.

Tickets
You will need to bring your original tickets to the circuit - copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required.

In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to the venue office.

Please have your tickets separated before arriving at the gate.

Grandstand seats and trackside lounge
Limited grandstand seating is available to purchase from the Megastore opposite the Kentagon restaurant. Trackside lounge upgrades are also on sale.

Pit walkabout
There is a pitwalk on raceday (Monday) at 11.55am. Anyone intending to take part will need to arrive at the queuing point next to Paddock Hill grandstand a minimum of 15 minutes early.

Please note: There will be no admittance to the pitwalk on raceday after 12:07pm.

FunZone
An attraction for our younger guests is the Brands Hatch Fun Zone! Attractions include mini JCBs from Diggerland, extreme trampoline, water zorbing, bouncy castle, mini quads and a funfair!

The FunZone will operate from 10.00am on Monday.

Go Karting
You can test your mettle with go-karting on a mini version of the Brands Hatch Indy circuit, located opposite the Megastore. Operated by Buckmore Park, karting is available for all those aged 10+ and costs £12 for ten minutes, payable at the karting circuit.

Easter egg hunt, meet the Easter bunny and more!
On Easter Monday (25 April) there will be a special Easter egg hunt, sponsored by Cadbury. Collect your map at the Megastore and there will be ten eggs to find - if you bring back your completed map you will be able to claim your free Creme Egg prize.

The Easter bunny will be visiting on Easter Sunday and Monday to meet fans and soak up the BSB atmosphere and there is also an Easter Farm on raceday (Easter Monday) giving younger children the chance to see, feed and cuddle a variety of critters such as chicks, lambs and bunnies from 10:00 - 16:00.

Stunt show with Chesca Miles
The UK's first female stunt rider Chesca Miles will be performing for the crowds on Easter Monday from 11:50am with the Stunt Starz team after hitting the headlines recently as she continues to mix the thrill of motorcycle stunt riding with a modelling and singing career.
