BTCC season launch: everything you need to know

Thursday, March 18 2010

The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship launches its 2010 season with an official test day at Brands Hatch on Tuesday (23 March), where teams will reveal their full line-ups and new liveries for the first time.

If you're planning to come along, the circuit is open free of charge to spectators from 9.00am and parking will be available on the gravel area by Pit Straight grandstand.

Track action begins at 10.00am with the first of two three-hour testing sessions, the second of which gets underway at 2.00pm.

Paddock Hill grandstand will be open for spectators to enjoy the testing action during the day, and the Kentagon and Grand Prix Terrace restaurants will also be open for hot food and refreshments.

Access to the GP paddock will not be restricted during the season launch, however the pit lane is strictly out of bounds to the public. We also ask spectators to respect the fact that Tuesday is the first official pre-season test and so please do not disturb the teams in their garages or whilst they are at work.

You can even purchase tickets for the first Brands Hatch round of the British Touring Car Championship on 1/2 May during your visit to the season launch from the MotorSport Vision Centre.

Tickets for the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit on 1/2 May are now on sale from £24 for adults. Entry is free for children aged 12 and under. For more information call 0870 950 9000 or click on the link below.
