Brands Hatch counts down to Easter British Superbikes

Thursday, March 25 2010

Brands Hatch once again hosts the opening round of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship this Easter Bank Holiday weekend (2/3/4/5 April), and tens of thousands of fans are set to descend on the legendary circuit in Kent.

MSV has unveiled a huge package of entertainment to support the on-track action, including various family-themed activities, many of which are featured at Brands Hatch for the first time.

Headlining these will be the extraordinary Animal Relentless Bike Tour, performing on the main raceday on Easter Monday, mixing the incredible mountain bike skills of former world champion trials rider Martyn Ashton with the spectacular jumping style of Sam Pilgrim.

Brands Hatch will also launch its brand new 'Fun Zone' for children at this event, featuring mini quad bikes, trampolines, a bouncy castle, go karting, a funfair and the ever-popular Diggerland experience.

Children and adults can meet their British Superbike heroes on the Monday with a free of charge 'pit walk', where former champions Neil Hodgson and Ryuichi Kiyonari will be present, along with local ace Tommy Hill from Lingfield and many others.

General public parking is free, and several restaurants and bars will be open throughout the weekend, along with a major trade and exhibition zone. Giant TV screens mean bike fans will miss none of the action, and Radio Brands will be broadcasting race commentary, exclusive interviews and traffic information throughout the weekend on 87.7 FM.

Advance adult raceday tickets are available from £24, with free parking and free entry for children aged 12 and under. For maximum value this Easter weekend you can book advance adult weekend tickets, valid for all four days, from just £29. For more information, call 0870 950 9000 or click on the link below.
