Wednesday, April 28 2010

If you are coming along to the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit this weekend (1/2 May), here is some important event information to help you make the most of your trip.

Gate opening times
The gate opening times this weekend are 8am on Saturday and 7am on Sunday.

Southbank Parking
Southbank is available for car parking (not bikes) on Saturday at a cost of £2 per car and Sunday for £5 per car.

If you intend to park on Southbank you will need to click on the link at the bottom of the page and download a pass.

Please display the pass in your windscreen to ensure that you are directed to the correct entrance when you arrive at the circuit.

You will need to bring your original tickets to the circuit; copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required.

In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to the venue office.

Please have your tickets separated before arriving at the gate.

Radio Brands 87.7FM
Radio Brands will be broadcasting live commentary, interviews and spectator information from 9am - 6.30pm on Saturday and 8.30am - 7.30pm on Sunday. Earpiece radios will be on sale this weekend from the Megastore and official programme booths.

Giant TV screens
Two giant TV screens facing Paddock Hill and Pit Straight grandstands will be broadcasting live television coverage of the event throughout the weekend.

Limited edition event programmes are available for just £5 from the Megastore and official programme booths located around the circuit. Each programme includes BTCC driver profiles and a selection of in-depth articles on all championships competing this weekend.

Grandstand seats and hospitality
Limited grandstand seating is available to purchase from the Megastore opposite the Kentagon restaurant.

You can also upgrade your viewing experience with raceday hospitality in the MotorSport Vision Centre for £124 per person. This package includes access to an air conditioned suite, breakfast, a two course buffet lunch and afternoon tea. A pay bar will also be in operation.

Other raceday VIP viewing options include the Trackside Lounge - featuring shared access to a suite overlooking the start/finish straight - from £70 and the Directors Terrace, a covered balcony area with a dedicated pay bar, from £45.
